Laser treatment

Your comfort is our priority during our laser treatment. That is why we provide a quiet workplace that offers comfort and privacy. The laser treatment will take place in a closed room where you can relax. Our skin therapist will discuss the laser treatment with you again.

At the start of the laser treatment, the skin therapist will first mark the area that needs to be removed. Your eyes are shielded from the laser light during the treatment.

During laser treatment, the pigment in the hair follicles absorbs the light in the laser, damaging the stem cells responsible for hair growth. We can significantly reduce and/or remove the hairs that are lasered. After the laser treatment, the treated area is cared for. The skin therapist applies a cool and soothing cream so that the skin can recover.

A laser treatment takes approximately between 10 and 90 minutes. How long your treatment will last depends on the area that needs laser treatment.

Skin types

Thanks to the GentleMax Pro it is possible for us to treat different skin types. Laser hair removal is possible for both dark and light skin. Our skin therapist is happy to look with you at the options for your skin type, so that you always receive the right laser treatment. We handle your skin with care, so safety is very important to us. A personal treatment plan ensures that the laser hair removal is tailored to your skin. Every skin is different and therefore requires a different treatment.

Reimbursements for laser treatment

Clinique Elixir only employs HBO-certified skin therapists who are affiliated with the Dutch Association of Skin Therapists (NVH) and the quality register for Paramedics (KP). The laser treatment for excessive facial hair growth is therefore reimbursed if you have additional insurance.
