What is XL Hair®?

XL Hair® is a hair loss treatment. It stops hair loss, stimulates hair growth, and activates the hair follicle (extending the anagen hair growth phase and shortening the telogen phase). It stimulates the hair follicle to produce healthy hair again, improving hair volume.

XL Hair offers options for treating various forms of baldness and symptomatic hair loss (alopecia). Hair loss can be a symptom of a skin condition or a complementary symptom of another condition. Alopecia androgenetica (male pattern baldness caused by the DHT hormone) and alopecia areata (patchy baldness that can occur anywhere on the body) are indications for which XL Hair is successful.

When is XL Hair an option?

XL Hair can be a good treatment option when hair follicles are still present and there are no co-morbidities or comedications (birth control pills, certain antibiotics, antidepressants, chemotherapy and beta-blockers for high blood pressure) that negatively affect hair growth.

Hair XL is a hair booster formulated with various vitamins, hyaluronic acid, and growth factors. These ingredients nourish, activate, and/or revitalize deficient hair follicles. The treatment reduces/stops active hair loss within 3 months. Hair XL also stimulates hair growth.

Through superficial injection with a mesogun or dermapen (microneedling), the vitamin is injected into the scalp and hair follicles. Each session lasts 30 minutes and should be performed as a course of treatments.

Who is XL Hair® suitable for?

The treatment is suitable for both men and women provided that the treatment protocol is strictly adhered to.

• Men receive a course of at least 6 treatments.
• Women receive a course of at least 8 treatments
• Both with an interval of 1 week.

The treatment must be maintained once every 6-8 months to maintain the results.

The Mesotherapy XL Hair treatment can be used for the following indications:

• Alopecia (bald patches, thinning hair)
• Other, non-scarring forms of hair loss

You cannot undergo the treatment if you have the following indications and/or characteristics:

• Scarring alopecia
• Streptococcus infection
• Cortical therapy (adrenal cortex hormone)
• Immunosuppressants
• Acute rheumatoid arthritis
• Recurrent angina (chest pain, shortness of breath)
• Endocarditis (inflammation of the heart valves)
• Allergy to any of the ingredients of XL Hair

The skin should be undamaged and free of infections, skin diseases, etc. No studies have been conducted on use during pregnancy, breastfeeding, or in children under the age of 18.

Aftercare

After the treatment it is important that you do not wash your hair or use hair products for 48 hours.

The scalp may feel slightly irritated and warm, this may last for several hours.

In addition, sauna/swimming pool/strenuous exercise should be avoided for up to 48 hours after treatment.
