This medical TCA peel is specially formulated to even, brighten, and firm the skin in the genital area, and improve overall skin condition. Our treatment is performed by experienced skin therapists.

The treatment plan includes two peel sessions and the use of HAPPY Intim® Lightening Cream at home (twice daily) to optimize results.

Preparation: A few weeks before your treatment, you'll begin applying HAPPY Intim® Lightening Cream to the area to be treated. The duration of this application will be tailored to your skin type, in consultation with your practitioner. You can shave the area the day before your treatment (but not on the day of treatment).

The Treatment: The skin therapist cleanses the area to be treated with a mild cleanser suitable for sensitive skin. Then, the Happy Peel solution is applied in one or two layers, depending on the desired result. Immediately after the peel, HAPPY Intim® Lightening Cream is applied for hydration and cooling.

After the treatment: Expect some skin shedding to make way for renewed cells and improved skin condition. The shedding is usually not visible in the genital area, and new skin will become visible after about 3 to 5 days.

You cannot undergo the treatment if you have the following indications and/or characteristics:

• Pregnancy and breastfeeding
• Acute active infections (herpes simplex) in the treated area
• Medication (antibiotics, prednisone, penicillin, isotretinoin/roacuttane/vitamin A cream and St. John's wort)
• Fever
• Eczema and Psoriasis
• Scleroderma
• Sunburned skin
• Recent treatment with other chemical peel/dermapen in the treatment area
• Skin cancer, radiotherapy and/or chemotherapy in the past 5 years.

Aftercare HAPPY Intim

Your skin will be sensitive after the peel. Strictly follow the home advice to prevent permanent pigmentation spots.

• On the day of the peel, leave HAPPY Intim® Lightening Cream on your skin. Avoid contact with water.
• Only cleanse the treated skin the next day (in the shower) with Cleanser Foam.
• Apply HAPPY Intim® Lightening Cream twice a day.
• Do not wear tight pants that may irritate the treatment area.
• Avoid chafing the treated area, for example by cycling.
• If the weather is nice and you're wearing short skirts or a bikini, protect your peeled skin with a medical sunscreen.

Reimbursements

Unfortunately, this treatment is not covered by health insurers.

Expected Results

After two Happy Peel sessions, you can expect the skin in your intimate area to be 1 to 2 shades lighter. The final result depends on your starting point and skin type.

What can I do myself to achieve maximum results?

• After the HAPPY Intim® Happy Peel treatment, apply HAPPY Intim Lightening Cream. This cream helps your skin heal faster and more effectively, so let it absorb until the next morning and reapply before bed.
• Do not cleanse the treated skin until the next day in the shower.
• Use the HAPPY Intim ® Lightening Cream at least twice a day.
• Avoid direct sunlight for 6 weeks and/or protect the skin with Melablock SPF 30 or 50+ in case the treatment area comes into contact with sunlight (such as your armpits).
• Immediately after the first peeling session and for up to two weeks after the last peeling, we advise you not to apply peels or scrubs to the treated area, or to undergo similar treatments at another clinic or beauty salon.
• It is advisable not to have any laser hair removal treatments performed on the treated area for up to 2 months after the last peeling session.
• Avoid high temperatures (sauna, hammam) for up to 2 weeks after the peeling treatment.
• In the rare cases that you experience an adverse reaction, such as a rash, severe itching, fever or cold sores, please contact your doctor.
