Camouflage therapy is a treatment that can be used to camouflage skin conditions and discoloration and make them less noticeable. Various camouflage products are available, with a choice of color or color combination. The skin therapist provides information and advice to ensure the camouflage matches your skin as closely as possible. There are special camouflage products that patients can apply themselves after selecting the right product and color.

Camouflage therapy can be used for the following indications:

• Pigment disorders (melasma, chloasma, vitiligo, nevus depigmentosus) and other hypo- and hyperpigmentation
• Vascular disorders (naevus flammeus, port-wine stain, capillaries and hemangioma)
• Rosacea
• Acne
• Scars
• Tattoos

You cannot undergo the treatment if you have the following indications and/or characteristics:

• Eczema
• Leg ulcer
• Bacterial skin infections
• Parasitic skin infections
• Fungal and viral skin infections.

Aftercare

After the consultation with the skin therapist, you will be able to apply the camouflage yourself. The product will last for several months, depending on the location and size of the area requiring camouflage.
